This year's summit will be opened by Melanie Leonhard, Senator of Economics, Labour and Innovation, and Maryam Blumenthal, Senator of Science, Research, Equality and Districts. Keynote speakers including Vincent Gassl, Business Development Manager at Bluu Seafood, and Volker Kallmayer, Senior Early Innovation Manager at Beiersdorf, will provide insights. A panel entitled "What makes a good startup?" will explore what a startup needs to be successful and attractive to investors. Stakeholders in the political sphere, commerce and science will discuss visions and alliances to reshape Hamburg and improve the standard of living during another panel entitled "Who is shaping Hamburg's future". Miriam Pütz, Managing Director of the Chamber of Commerce, and Nina Alswede, Key Account Manager at Hamburg Invest will discuss trends, projects and players that are advancing innovation in Hamburg during the "Hamburg Innovation Radar".
The agenda will also zone in on how AI is helping IT departments, the successful development of forward-looking "Made in Germany" technology by Sky Sails and the future of skilled trades. Foodlab will host so-called kitchen talks while the "Startup capital for Hamburg's founders: Portrait of IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH" will give aspiring entrepreneurs insight into founding a startup in the city. IFB will also reveal its targeted funding schemes, investments and individual support for becoming a successful company.
