The location of the Hamburg pavilion in "Riviera 8" has proved its worth thanks to its central position in the centre of the visitor flow. It is in the immediate vicinity of many interesting partners, such as the stands of North Rhine-Westphalia, Luxembourg and the German Pavilion for Cities & Regions. The attractive outdoor areas with sea views offer a spectacular panorama overlooking the marina.

Dear visitors,
Every year, MIPIM brings together the international real estate and urban development community in Cannes. Under the guiding theme “The Global Urban Festival,” the focus is on rethinking the urban world and jointly finding answers to the key questions of our time. For Hamburg, this international platform is an important opportunity to contribute its own impulses while also engaging in dialogue with partners from around the world.
Hamburg views urban development as a long-term collective responsibility. Our goal is to combine growth, climate protection, and social responsibility — through affordable housing, sustainable construction, and future-ready neighborhoods. At the same time, we are working to further improve framework conditions: with the Hamburg Standard, new initiatives to accelerate planning and approval procedures, and the federal government’s “Construction Turbo,” we are creating greater speed, predictability, and reliability for investments.
We are showcasing what such integrated approaches can look like through projects such as Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld. Here, new spaces for research, innovation, and living are being created — opening up prospects for a city that continues to develop dynamically while remaining a great place to live.
