Innovative, sustainable, urban - this is the motto under which the HEY/Mobility Hamburg mobility event will once again take place on 12 and 13 June 2024. Ideas and solutions for sustainable transport
Hamburg as a role model for the modern mobility of tomorrow
Hamburg wants to become a role model for the modern mobility of the future. In the "Metropolitan Model Region Mobility", various mobility concepts and forms are therefore being trialled in the Elbe metropolis on road and rail, on water and in the air, such as autonomous driving. In order to make transport in the Hanseatic city more digital, efficient and user-friendly, the Hamburg Senate has also adopted the "Digital Mobility Strategy". The IST-Cube project aims to use intelligent technologies to prioritise buses in road traffic. Hamburg is also hosting the world's largest public transport congress, the UITP Global Public Transport Summit, which is set to become the centre of the mobility revolution once again in 2025 and 2027. "When the topics of mobility, digitalisation, connectivity, sustainability and the City of 2024 are combined in a sustainable way at , something new and inspiring is created - and that is precisely the concept of HEY/Mobility Hamburg," emphasises Hans Hamer, CEO of HEY/Mobility Hamburg.
