Hamburg’s innovation parks offer your innovations all the freedom they deserve, providing you with ample space for your innovative projects as well as state-of-the-art infrastructure.
To create and promote technology centres, the InnovationsAllianz Hamburg launched an initiative aimed at establishing a network of research and innovation parks (R&I parks) with different focal areas where possible. For the development of these local R&I parks, the Hamburg Senate is investing equally in four main locations: Altona, Bergedorf, Harburg and Finkenwerder.
All of these locations are home to renowned scientific anchor institutions and boast great potential as well as expandable infrastructures.
Taken together, these locations cover most of the identified research and development fields in Hamburg and may also be linked up with other locations, where possible.
The centrally located incubators and technology centres allow for exchange, collaboration and knowledge transfer between stakeholders from science and business. Local innovation guides further support networking and cooperation in the innovation parks. All this takes place in an investment-friendly climate and a political culture committed to innovation.
