"The introduction of the ZeSI mobile verification app is another important step towards digitalized and secure administrative procedures. The ability to easily and securely verify documents such as digital registrations will bolster trust in Hamburg's digital services," said Christian Pfromm, Chief Digital Officer. The ZeSI app can be used to verify the authenticity of all electronic documents with a forgery-proof barcode or a "visible digital seal" (VDS). This latest app is the first of three modules being developed by Bundesdruckerei GmbH. The other two modules, ZeSI Generator and ZeSI AD, are scheduled for release later this year. ZeSI ad will also enable the VDS to be generated and checked automatically and in larger numbers in future, which may be important for companies.
