Hamburg is gearing up to host both trade fairs and some 40 congresses this year given its increasing popularity as an event venue. Experts in a wide range of industries ranging from medicine, technology, acoustics to tax consulting will exchange ideas in special conferences and symposia.

European symposia of medical professionals

Doctors from all over Europe will meet in the Congress Center Hamburg (CCH) for the leading European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) congress from June 9-11, 2023. Later, the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) will focus on their latest findings when researchers meet from October 3 to 6 in CCH.

National medical congresses

CCH will also host national, interdisciplinary medical congresses such as the Sports, Medicine and Health Summit from June 22 to 24 bringing employees in sports, exercise and health together. The German Society for Hematology and Medical Oncology (DGHO) has also chosen CCH as the venue for its annual meeting. Experts from German-speaking countries will meet there from October 13 to 16, 2023.

Technology, digitisation and internet

The international IT and digital industry will also congregate in Hamburg. Founders can also look forward to the Startup-Port Community Day on July 4 in HAW Hamburg’s Forum Finkenau. The event offers plenty of opportunities for exchanging ideas in a relaxed setting.
