Companies throughout Lüdenschied are set to receive office supplies and medicines with a payload of up to 10 kilograms by drone. Hotset, a manufacturer of sensor and process control technology, was the Koerschulte Group's first customer. The company is aiming to set up five more flight routes in the coming months. This is the first fully automated drone delivery service in Germany, HHLA Sky said.

German Federal Aviation Authority approves use of automated drones for B2B courier deliveries - HHLA subsidiary to provide drone control centre
Around 80 daily parcels will soon be airborne in Lüdenscheid, North Rhine-Westphalia after the Koerschulte Group successfully completed its first customer order with fully automated drones. The German Federal Aviation Authority (LBA) had earlier approved deliveries by drone. HHLA Sky, a subsidiary of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA), will control the drone delivery services remotely from its integrated control centre where emphasis is on scalability and safety.
