“We will create the opportunity on the second day of the conference for an additional gathering for up to 200 participants with business tickets in the physical part of the conference in the RCADIA in Hamburg-Bergedorf under 2G-Plus rules (vaccinated or recovered plus test),” says Dennis Schoubye, head of the organizers, Gamecity Hamburg. Here the focus will be on networking, matchmaking and roundtable discussions. The conference’s programme of presentations will by contrast be purely online.
From the first day of the conference (2 March) onwards, participants will be able to meet up in the digital space in the Online Expo for networking by video and for finding out about new games projects. An interactive platform specially developed for the conference in the form of a virtual cruise liner with new content, which can be played in the browser, will be expanded for this purpose. “Our digital conference platform is the perfect tool for allowing participants to access new impulses, to experience the conference feeling on the online expo and to network in presentations that are digitally accessible, in panel discussions and in Q&A rounds,” Schoubye explains.
