The exhibitions include both permanent collections and special exhibitions such as "Huguette Caland - A Life In A Few Lines" in the Deichtorhallen Hamburg, "Anders Zorn. Sweden's Superstar" in the Hamburger Kunsthalle and "Care! When Love Becomes Work" at the Museum of Work. Visitors can look forward to a vast special agenda. The steamship "Schaarhörn", and the general cargo ship "Bleichen'" and a harbour tugboat can be explored during the Open Ship event in the Hamburg Maritime Foundation. Visitors can also go on an individual tour of the museusm.
The #seeforfree campaign gives people an opportunity to debate various social issues and from different perspectives. The diverse museums in Hamburg e.g., large museums that exhibit international masterpieces and smaller collections reflect our city's defining characteristics namely openness, curiosity, and the joy of shared discovery," said Carsten Brosda, Senator for Culture and Media.
