The new routes expand the existing flights from Hamburg Airport. The Hungarian airline Wizz Air has flown direct to Rome since March 2024. The addition of the new Easyjet connections will improve access to major Italian cities. "It is particularly pleasing to see that airlines seizin the opportunities offered by Hamburg in these challenging times," Kunsch added.
