New AI-themed festival for Hamburg's media and digital sector

nextMedia.Hamburg to host AI festival in "Space" from February 19-23, 2024

The nextMedia.Hamburg is gearing up to host a new AI event series, which it has developed with Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft, from February 19-23, 2024 in the “Space” in Hamburg's Speicherstadt. Delegates can look forward to renowned speakers from the media industry, workshops, keynote speeches, panels, insights and sparring sessions. Each festival day will focus on a different topic. Registrations are now being accepted online and plans are being laid to host the free theme festival three times a year in future.

Festival agenda 

The issue of  "AI & Leadership" will launch the new festival. Sebastian Horn, Director of AI at Zeitverlag, will discuss AI for managers. Events on the second festival day will turn to "AI & Work" for young professionals, new leaders and strategy developers who want to integrate AI into their everyday work. Talks on the third day, entitled "AI & Business", will highlight how AI is changing the industry's business model and what new business models it can help create. "AI & Creativity" will target creative professionals in agencies, communications departments and freelancers. Then on Friday, AI's revolutionary potential for the content industry will take centre stage on "AI & Content Friday". The event is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Media and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
