Look forward to highlights of Reeperbahn Festival 2025

Fans and industry to meet from September 17- 20

This year's Reeperbahn Festival features no fewer than 800 events in 70 venues when it gets underway from September 17- 20, 2025 turning Hamburg's St. Pauli district into the scene of Europe's largest music club festival. Up to 45,000 visitors including 6,000 trade delegates from over 40 nations will come together and meet national and international bands, industry professionals and fans. This year's motto "Imagine Togetherness!" is aiming for a music scene marked by solidarity.

Newcomers and old favourites 

The festival has set its sights on promoting talented young professionals. To this end, the winning newcomer of the annual "Anchor" contest receives professional backing. This year's nominees include Cara Rose, Carpetman, Mei Semones, RIP Magic, Soft Loft and Sorvina. In addition to up-and-coming talent, more established musicians and bands including Everything Everything, Waving The Guns, Ivo Martin and Nemo - winner of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2024 will take to the stage. Highlights include concerts by Pip Millett and Fuffifufzich in the Elbphilharmonie's Grand Hall. Some venues such as the Festival Village on Spielbudenplatz, are open to the public. No tickets are needed.

Music industry conference

The conference, which is held simultaneously, gives international music reps a chance to share their expertise and ideas. All the latest risks and opportunities and issues like sustainability, ticketing, women in the music industry, the shortage of skilled labour and working conditions will be the subject of many panels, workshops and lectures.  The conference is complemented by the three partner events, Re:publica, Sustain! and the Afro Futuristic Convention, which are open to everyone and zone in on topics such as artificial intelligence, diversity and innovation. The digital conference, re:publica, will feature exciting debates on technology, culture and politics from September 18 and 19 September.
