The highlights include various industry competitions such as the Internorga Future Award, which focuses on effective and sustainable business concepts for the out-of-home market. A jury consisting of business, science and society experts will select the most innovative approaches in the categories Food & Beverage, Technology & Equipment and Catering & Hospitality. Another highlight is the presentation of the Next Chef Award. An expert jury will select the 18 best up-and-coming talents in cookery, who will then compete against each other in live challenges during the trade fair. The final will be held on March 11.

The International Foodservice Forum on March 7, 2024 kicks off with an analysis of the top 100 gastronomy players in Germany, presented by Katrin Wißmann, Foodservice magazine. Prof. Dr. Torsten Olderog from AKAD University in Stuttgart will present the programme for business owners, franchisees, managers and F&B managers in the quick service, transport catering and fine dining sectors. Keynoted speakers include leading industry insiders such as Gamze Cizreli, founder of the Turkish restaurant BigChefs, Henry McGovern, joint founder of McWin, Mario Federico, CEO of McDonald’s Germany and Prof. Dr. Carolyn Hutter, sustainability and food expert.
