Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft announces spring offers

23 March 2022
Agenda features further education, events and grants

The Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft has announced its offers in spring with emphasis on courses, more in-depth knowledge, space, grants and innovation for creative professionals across Hamburg.

Creative Future Academy to close digitalisation gaps

The six-month Creative Future Academy is designed to help companies close digitization gaps in the wake of the pandemic. The agenda focuses on all issues related to digitial business models, corporate strategies and processes. Participants can expect up to 40 hours of individual consulting, workshops and lectures. Participation in the Creative Future Academy is free of charge as the qualification scheme is being funded by the EU and the City of Hamburg in response to the pandemic. The course is suitable for the solo self-employed, freelancers and employees of companies with up to 249 staff. Applications are being accepted until the deadline of April 10, 2022.

Workshops on improving pitches and more relaxed working

The workshop "Inspire with presence and (body) language in pitches" focuses on how beginners can make their presence felt through body language, speech and elocution when presenting business ideas. The two-day event will be led by executive coach and presenter Lars Hartenstein and will take place online on March 25 and April 1. Registrations are being accepted until March 25, 2022. The workshop "Resilience and Stress Management" focuses on how to deal with everyday stress at work. How can time pressure, customer acquisition, bookkeeping and private appointments be combined with self-care and realistic goals? The media scientist and coach Antje Rach gives tips for good self and stress management. The workshop will be held online on March 31, 2022. Registrations are being accepted until March 31, 2022.

Online financing finder and crowdfunding club

The Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft's online funding finder helps creatives to find grants. The tool gives an overview of urban and state funding and grants provided by private and public foundations and associations. The overview is supplemented by loans, credits and equity investments for all sectors. People who would like to finance their project through a crowdfunding campaign can receive a grant of up to EUR 5,000 as part of the Hamburg Crowdfunding Campaign Funding. The crowdfunding campaign to save the Südpol cultural centre in Hammerbrook is just one successful example and raised over EUR 110,000 when the pandemic broke out. Ongoing applications for the scheme are possible. Entrepreneurs interested in crowdfunding can also attend the Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft's monthly "Crowdfunding Club". Participants learn how to prepare their campaign and which factors can influence the outcome. The next Crowdfunding Club will be held on April 5, 2022.
