Hamburg gets new "Polaris” trade fair for gaming scene

Hamburg Messe und Congress, RCADIA and Super Crowd Entertainment launch games convention from October 28-30, 2022

Hamburg Messe und Congress (HMC), the gaming house RCADIA and the event organizer Super Crowd Entertainment have announced plans to host the codenamed Polaris trade fair as a new games release from October 28 to 30, 2022.  A trailer can be watched on https://bit.ly/PolarisTeaser. Photopia, Future Moves and Polaris

"The launch of Polaris marks the third major event after Photopia in 2021 and Future Moves in 2022," said Bernd Aufderheide, Managing Director of Hamburg Messe und Congress. Emphasis will be on gaming, cosplay i.e. dressing up as a character from a film, book, or video games and content creation. Many e-sports experts are expected at the trade fair thanks to RCADIA and the new gaming house in Bergedorf, which recently hosted the Hamburg Games Conference.

Games convention to bring digital innovation to life

"Our focus is on presenting digital innovations and making them tangible, attracting partners from the sector and putting them in contact with a really large community," said Tomislav Karajica, founder of the Imvest Group and one of the many creative minds behind the new fair. Apart from a face-to-face event, Polaris will also go digital in the shape of app and a streaming show. Polaris is set to become the "most technically advanced and entertaining hybrid trade fair in Europe", said Wolf Lang, CEO of Super Crowd.
