Future Hamburg Talks meets Jan Rispens, Managing Director of EEHH
In our latest Future Hamburg Talk, Jan Rispens, Managing Director of the Hamburg Renewable Energy Cluster (EEHH), gives insight into the current state of the envisioned hydrogen economy and outlines other forward-looking hydrogen projects that are being advanced in Hamburg. Green hydrogen, which is produced with renewable energy, is considered a game changer in the energy transition and especially as it is CO2-free. Hamburg is now aspiring to become the European capital of green hydrogen. "It's a marathon, not a sprint," Rispens pointed out. Two key infrastructure projects are central to setting up a hydrogen economy in the city namely the Hamburg Green Hydrogen Hub and the Hamburg Hydrogen Industrial Network (HH-WIN). The upcoming Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe will debut in Hamburg from October 23-24, and will showcase all the latest H2 technology and trends.
