Financial technology experts and start-ups are gearing up for Fintech Week underway from September 26-30, in downtown Hamburg with emphasis on gender equality. Delegates will have an opportunity to attend keynotes, talks and network amid 20 events on the agenda. Gender equality will take centre stage on September 28, 2022 when the Female Fintech Friends begins. The highlights include "Women in Metaverse", which outlines women's roles in the digital space and how it works. The agenda also features a panel on female fintech founders, a master class on female fintechs and a roundtable on female leadership. The world's leading Wind Energy trade fair will open its doors from September 27-30, in Hamburg's exhibition halls focusing on the future of renewable energies and the first ever H2 Expo and Conference, will be held simultaneously.

Fintechs and wind energy
Impact of digitalisation on society and logistics
Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft will host the Mind the Progress Congress on October 1 and all those interested can attend the Logistics Summit from October 5 to 6 and learn more about digitalisation and innovation in the sector. This latest trade fair should bring established companies and innovative start-ups together to share digital solutions and to network.
Multimedia, photography and video production
Representatives of the global imaging and video production industry are expected at Photopia Hamburg underway from October 13 to 16 in the halls of Hamburg Messe- und Congress. This year’s trade fair is being held under the motto of "Share Your Vision and will showcase the latest technological trends and innovations. The live event attracts both professional and amateur photographers and content creators as well as users of conventional mobile phones. Then from October 18 to 20, the Live, Entertainment and Technology Convention (Leat Con) moves into the exhibition halls. Emphasis will be on the shortage of skilled workers, sustainability and digitialisation.
Aviation innovations and innovation management
The month of November is all about innovation. The ZAL Innovation Day on November 10 will focus on the future of aviation. Experts will give keynotes per via livestream and on-site at the Center for Applied Aviation. The Cross Innovation Day on November 11 seeks new ways of managing innovations. Talks and workshops will call for the knowledge transfer between creative people from the self-employed to global players.
Other events
Even if it's worth staying in Hamburg, other German cities also offer great startup events. Among the top events are DEMXCO in Cologne from September 21-22 and EXPO REAL in Munich from October 4-6. Top international events include the Web Summit in Lisbon (November 4) for the who's who of the technology sector while SLUSH in Helsinki (November 17-18) targets founders and start-ups. Around 4, 600 entrepreneurs will then have a chance to meet some 2,600 investors.
