"Volotea is now aiming to offer new direct flights all over Europe thereby increasing connectivity. The strategy goes perfectly with our aim to be well connected throughout Europe," said Gesa Zaremba, Head of Airline & Traffic Development at Hamburg Airport. The airline will operate the two-hour, direct flight Nantes at 1.30 pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Connection from September - direct flights to Florence, Bordeaux and Lyon from spring
Spain's Volotea airline will operate a new direct flight twice a week to Nantes in Brittany from Hamburg Airport beginning on September 17, 2024. Direct flights to Florence, Bordeaux und Lyon from Hamburg will resume in late March/early April.

The airlines are now gearing up for the spring and summer seasons. Thus, Hamburg Airport is adding more and more direct flights to destinations in southern European. Volotea will operate the Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft on new routes.
