"We welcome Sky Express, which is one of Greece's fastest growing airlines, to Hamburg Airport," said Gesa Zaremba, Head of Airline & Traffic Development at Hamburg Airport. Sky Express, a member of the International Air Transport Association, was founded in 2005 and has the largest domestic network in Greece with 33 destinations from Athens. "The new direct flight to Athens strengthens our route network and benefits both business travellers and holidaymakers," Zaremba added.
Around 120 direct destinations in some 40 countries are available from Hamburg Airport. The most popular destinations are Mallorca and Antalya in Turkey, with around 70 flights per week to the Balearic Island and 40 to the Turkish Riviera. More flights to Greece, Albania and Armenia will also be offered.
