Conference on "Policy Dialogues"
The Reeperbahn Festival Conference is one of the key business platforms for the entire music industry and the digital creative industries. It features no less than 130 sessions and 300 speakers on issues driving the music industry. Emphasis is on "Policy Dialogues" between the music industry, politics and administration to initiate political processes. Topics on the agenda include fair play in the streaming market, approaches to countering right-wing political trends and securing the existence of small clubs through a possible ticket tax. Other sessions on the theme of "Social Action/Activism" will centre on dealing with political conflicts, artistic freedom, abuse of power in the music industry and accessibility at European music festivals. The risks of artificial intelligence for copyright law will also be addressed.
