Apply now for Music WorX accelerator - deadline on July 13, 2020

Music firms and founders in Hamburg and across Europe have until the deadline of July 13, 2020 to apply for the Music WorX accelerator for start-ups. The programme aims to boost the Hanseatic music industry and its innovative ecosystem to solidify Hamburg's position as a leading centre of music. Creative business ideas and innovations are catalysts of the music industry. Alternatives are needed to existing distribution channels and new, digital revenue and business models are in demand. The Ministry of Culture and Media and the Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft are backing technology-based business ideas in the industry to tackle the corona crisis and change.

Three months, four teams

The Kreativ Gesellschaft backs four teams per year. The accelerator runs from mid-August to early November 2020, during which time the participants develop their business idea with experts and mentors in the Hamburg music industry and make valuable contacts.

EUR 5,000 for best pitch

The Music WorX Pitch is the highlight of the programme. The teams pitch their business model to an audience in Hamburg, a jury of experts and potential investors. The winners get EUR 5,000 in prize money.
