Industry marked by upheaval

The industry is in a state of upheaval and we want to open spaces for thought and discussion with our professional events," says Faysal Omer, who is responsible for the industry gathering. German director Dominik Graf will give an opening keynote for young German filmmakers. Topics include the portrayal of violence towards women/females, lesbians, intersex, non-binary and trans people, calls for more contemporary portrayals of women in film and television, promoting film material for female actors over 60 years, diversity and intersectionality, green productions and as well as the retention of rights for independent productions.
