Commenting on the upcoming event, Claudia-Marie Dittrich, director of hei. Hamburger Existenzgründungsinitiative, noted: "Simply cancelling Founders' Day, the top event for founders in its 25th anniversary year without replacement, was out of the question. The interest in business start-ups and the need for support are very high despite or perhaps because of the corona crisis. A digital Founders' Day allows us to transfer the most important topics and suggestions to the online world."
The Hamburg Founders' Day is going ahead as a digital event from September 7-11, 2020 with expert video talks, live chats and podcasts. This comes after the hei. Hamburger Existenzgründungsinitiative cancelled the earlier event amid corona-induced restrictions. Interested entrepreneurs can now register free of charge.
