Hamburg Research Academy hosts "Careers Day" for PhD holders

Places still available for companies - focus on non-university job market at Hamburg Invest's event

A careers day, held by the Hamburg Research Academy (HRA) and Hamburg Invest's Talent Services teams, will highlight non-university opportunities for PhD graduates and students on October 6, 2022. The event is being held under the motto of  "Career Leap". Ten places are still available for companies with appropriate vacancies. 

Free places for companies

Around 200 young academics will be able to get to know industries and companies across the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. The event features job opportunities, panel discussions and workshops on the premises of the Design Offices Hammerbrook. Companies can pitch their businesses from 12 noon to 3 p.m. and network with the candidates in small groups. Each stand costs EUR 50 including catering. Ten out of 30 places for companies are still available and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Registrations are per email. More information can be found on HRA's website.

The Hamburg Research Academy (HRA) is an inter-university institution for PhD students, postdocs and W1 professors in Hamburg. It combines the strengths of the nine member universities to offer support and qualifications to the city's young researchers. The interdisciplinary range of services helps young academics to obtain further qualifications and network in the first years of their careers.
