"The IT industry has been in a key economic and infrastructural position not only since the crisis, and it will maintain this position in 2021, as a provider of solutions and systems that allow us to continue to grow as a society and make us fit for the future," said Volker Martens, a member of Faktor 3's board of directors. Various presentations and workshops at the IT Strategy Days will reveal which innovative technologies are likely to shape the IT industry in future, Martens added. The "Create the New Customer Experience" topic will deal with user experiences of the new reality while the issue of "Return to Strategy" will deal with the transition away from crisis. The issue of "Leadership from the Home Office" will focus on how to apply leadership concepts to decentralized structures such as remote working.
The Hamburg IT Strategy Days are going digital from February 22-26, 2021 and will be held under the theme of "The Future Normal" due the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the organizers, the Hamburg@work digital cluster and the Faktor 3 Live agency. The event counts among Germany's top specialist conferences for CIOs and IT decision-makers. Topics on the agenda include the surge towards digitalisation in companies and the rising importance of remote working. The conference will offer an outlook on the new normality and a look at the industry’s future.
