Michael Westhagemann, Senator for Economics, remarked: "The ITS World Congress is the largest flagship event for intelligent transport systems and services and offers us the opportunity to present our innovative projects in Hamburg to the world. That applies especially to the use of urban airspace. We want to make all that concrete and tangible. The more tangible the ideas are, the greater the acceptance," he added. During the free Public Day on October 14, people all over the Hamburg Metropolitan Region can watch live demonstrations in the Homeport real lab and visit the ITS exhibition.
