Austrian Airlines will be flying to Klagenfurt every week with immediate effect. Popular winter holiday destination

Hamburg Airport's route network continues to grow: The new direct link between Hamburg Airport and Klagenfurt is certain to be popular with devotees of winter sports in particular. Austrian Airlines will be flying to the Austrian holiday destination in Carinthia every Saturday (1.35 pm) up to 2 March.

New direct link to winter holiday destination

"By adding Klagenfurt to its schedule, Austrian Airlines is once again making a popular winter sports region accessible nonstop during times of high demand," Hamburg Airport Aviation Supervisor Dirk Behrens says. Northern German holidaymakers will be able to fly to the Carinthian Alps in a little more than 1.5 hours. And Austrian travellers wishing to explore the city on the Elbe will also be able to benefit from these flights, Austrian Airlines CCO Michael Trestl adds. As an Austrian alternative to Klagenfurt, the airline's 2023/2024 winter flight schedule also offers flights to Vienna several times a day.
