IDX_FS will kick off Monday with the International Foodservice Forum featuring industry experts and on digital terrain for the first time. This will be followed by the presentation of the Internorga Future Award that honours forward-looking, sustainably operating companies. The agenda on the other days features keynote speakers, competitions, award ceremonies and new events on three live stages broadcasting from Hamburg and Cologne. Around 100 exhibitors will present their latest products and product innovations on a virtual exhibitor platform.
The International Digital Food Services Expo (IDX_FS), powered by trade fair giant Internorga, goes virtual Monday (March 15, 2021) to bring stakeholders in the gastronomy, catering and hotel industry together despite the coronavirus-induced crisis. Delegates at this year’s fair underway through March 17 can learn about the latest developments in the out-of-home market in live forums and on virtual stages. The agenda also features contests, award ceremonies and networking opportunities.

IDX_FS as a signal for the industry
Internorga has teamed up with the Institute of Culinary Art and event management company, IDX Events, to organize IDX_FS. "We are thrilled that in this exceptional year and with two great partners at our side, we can offer the entire out-of-home market a digital platform with the IDX_FS Expo, which promises both a diverse supporting program and offers exhibitors and visitors opportunities for talks," said Claudia Johannnsen, organizer of Internorga. IDX_FS is sending a strong signal to the industry, she added. Michael Buck, Managing Partner at IDX Events, stressed: "The event will encourage stakeholders in the industry to look positively towards the future."
