Event to rethink transport and bring together international experts

HEY/HAMBURG brings together companies, start-ups, politicians and scientists from June 17 to 18, 2021 to rethink transport on roads, railways, water and in the air look under the theme “Outlining a Future Mobility Ecosystem 2040”. HEY/HAMBURG is a mix of convention, conference, think tank, master classes, start-up competition, demonstrations and test drives.

Delegates from all over globe

Experts from Germany and all over the world will hold digital discussions on "The future is now!", "City of 2040, Urban Infrastructure", "Future Lab Mobility: See today what will happen tomorrow", "Mobility & Sustainability" and "Digitalisation & Connectivity". Delegates include Stefan Wulff (Managing Partner, Otto Wulff), Tobias Wessels (Chief Development Officer, Udelv, California, United States), Imogen Pierce (Head of City Engagement and Integration, ARRIVAL, Britain), Christian Knörle (Head of Company Building, Porsche Digital), Lena Schrum (former footballer and joint founder of aware-the-platform), Marco Neelsen (CEO, Port of Tanjung Pelepas (Malaysia), Alois Krtil (CEO Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg) and Dr Anjes Tjarks (Senator for Transport and Mobility Transition Hamburg).

Today’s vision is tomorrow’s reality

HEY/HAMBURG is a collaboration between the Chamber of Commerce and SHIFT Mobility. The Chamber of Commerce drafted its vision for a liveable, sustainable and climate-neutral city to which a transport revolution is pivotal, in its Hamburg 2040 strategy (Standortstrategie Hamburg). Alternative drives, autonomous vehicles, drones and air taxis will shape the mobility of tomorrow. What sounds visionary is being tested today. Apart from HEAT, an autonomously-driven electric mini bus which already traverses HafenCity, three autonomous minibuses will be tested in Bergedorf from August. A "Test Track for Automated and Connected Driving" (TAVF) across the city centre will see autonomous vehicles become an everyday reality soon. The organisers of HEY/HAMBURG aim to bring these and many other intelligent mobility scenarios to life.
