"'We are bringing together Hamburg's business circle and the skilled workers of tomorrow, in response to the urgent need for qualified personnel," said Norbert Aust, President of the Chamber of Commerce. The Hamburg Internship Weeks give companies the chance to meet talented individuals and present themselves as attractive employers. Numerous companies including trades, local government, media, social affairs, retail, finance and services, are taking part. They include the Hamburger Sparkasse, Budni, Motel One and Allianz. Participation is free of charge.
Chamber of Commerce's internship weeks run from July 14 to September 3, 2025
The Chamber of Commerces is encouraging youths aged 15 and over to try out internships in different companies and professions from July 14 to September 3, 2025. Participants can visit various firms for up to five days at a time or complete a short internship spread out over the summer holidays.

Companies and students are matched on the platform. Young people then receive internship suggestions based on their interests. Last year, around 100 companies offered some 1,000 short internships. The Chamber of Commerce organises these placements in collaboration with various partners such as the Hamburg Youth Employment Agency, the Ministry of Schools and Vocational Training, and the Chamber of Crafts.
