Visitors can immerse themselves in five different themed worlds. Each world features matching characters and settings including the "Cyberdrome", which focuses on games, the "Sandbox", which is all about retro content, and "Neo Taki", which revolves around Asian pop culture. A meet-and-greet on various stages gives visitors an opportunity to get to know creators. The "Polaris Game App", which is designed to guide visitors through the trade fair in a fun way, rounds things off.
Gaming fair from October 11-13 - spotlight on Asian pop culture, gaming and manga
The gaming industry is gearing up for Polaris 2024 which opens its doors on Friday (October 11-23) in Hamburg. Around 27,000 visitors are expected at the fair focusing on gaming, manga, anime, Asian pop culture and e-sports. The trade fair is a a mix of challenges, panel discussions, interviews and streams by well-known influencers and creators in a huge exhibition space.

The three-day convention gives developers an opportunity to present their own video games and share ideas with various players and others. Five Hamburg-based teams will present their work at the Gamecity Hamburg stand. The initiative is also hosting a networking event at Grüner Jäger in the Schanzenviertel on Friday evening.
