"As a founding member of Germany Finance, we are pleased to take on the role of spokesperson in 2022 in challenging times," said Harald Vogelsang, Chair of Finanzplatz Hamburg. "Major tasks at national and European level lie ahead for our industry. We have to finance the sustainable restructuring of our economy, find an intelligent framework and drive forward digitalisation. These challenges affect all the German financial centres and can be better managed together."
The Hamburg financial centre has succeeded Stuttgart as the point of contact for all enquiries related to the Germany Finance initiative. The role of "spokesperson" rotates annually among the members. Launched in early 2021 by five leading German financial centres, the Germany Finance working group is celebrating its first anniversary this year.
