Trade fair in Hamburg to showcase digital innovations and AI

The "Get Nord 2024" trade fair for electrical engineering, sanitation, heating and air conditioning opens its doors from November 21 to 23, 2024 in Hamburg with emphasis on digitalisation in the skilled trades sector. Around 600 companies will  present all their latest products and technologies in the Hamburg exhibition centre and show how digital innovations and artificial intelligence (AI) can improve energy efficiency and building management.

Focus on digital technologies

The trade fair will showcase innovative digital tools and mobile applications that simplify day-to-day work. These include apps with smooth links from the office to the building site, as well as solutions for digital time recording and documentation. Experts will present AI technologies such as intelligent systems for text editing and translation and for handling invoices automatically in the AI Centre@Get Nord.

Practical training and networking opportunities

Visitors can attend lectures and workshops on e.g., Building Information Modelling (BIM), energy transition trends and effective energy management in the "Energy@Get Nord Forum".

Attracting skilled labour through innovation

The emphasis will also be on hiring and retaining skilled labourers. Modern working models and tools for attracting and retaining skilled workers will be presented. The Sanitär Heizung Klempner (SHK) and E-Handwerke associations in northern Germany will present new software solutions and apps for recruiting and training  junior staff at their stands.
