Four universities in metropolitan region to present projects online

Hamburg highlights sustainable production processes, energy efficiency and resource conservation

Sustainable production processes, efficient use of energy and saving resources will be at the centre of a free online event on July 4, 2023. The event series by the Hamburg Metropolitan Region gives insight into current research to stimulate co-operation.

Four universities seek business partners

The universities seek to co-operate with industry on recovering recyclable materials from batteries, resource conservation through upcycling in the construction sector and increasing energy efficiency in the chemical industry. A network for knowledge transfer in sustainable production will also be presented. The Helmut Schmidt University Hamburg, Hamburg University of Technology, Wismar University of Applied Sciences and Leuphana University Lüneburg are taking part in the upcoming event.

Driving innovation, knowledge transfer and collaboration 

The universities will present their projects in short presentations. Companies and scientists will have an opportunity to discuss the respective topics in talk-to-sessions. The aim is to boost innovation, knowledge transfer and collaboration between science, research and business in the metropolitan region. Founders and students are also welcome to attend.
