Visitors can explore 3D printing or climate change with many hands-on activities from 3.30 to 7.30 pm. Exhibitors including Airbus, Fab City Hamburg, European XFEL, Hamburg Airport, Lufthansa Technik, Hochbahn and Hamburg Wasser will give insight into their operations. A speed dating event from 4.30 to 6 p.m. will give people an opportunity to talk to experts and discover exciting career paths.
The Young Talents Club Hamburg (YOTA) is hosting a technology day of action on February 23, 2024 at the Berliner Tor on the campus of the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW). Taster lectures for school classes, workshops, lectures, tours and speed dating with Hamburg companies will give young people glimpses of e.g., mathematics in mechanics and technology, more sustainable flying or building bionic gripper arms. The events are being held under the theme of "Find your Perspective" and were initiated by Hamburg Invest for children and young people from eight years and their families. Tickets including a snack and drink cost EUR 5.

Workshops, talks and tours
Talks for youths from 14 to 19 years will highlight the technology behind wind turbines and its role in energy generation. Eight to 12-year-olds can find out why an aeroplane flies during a workshop. A talk entitled "Hearing and Seeing Atoms” gives youths from 13 years insight into the world of X-rays. Visitors can also go on tours and take a look behind various electrical engineering scenes as well as modelling and technology design. The talk "Mobility of the Future" for families at 6.30 pm rounds off the events.
