Hamburg Messe's Annual Report 2020 read: "We are optimists!" Results were poor given the pandemic and a halt to events extending well into 2021. Yet, the pandemic has shown clearly that people remain keen on personal meetings, shared experiences and togetherness, the report highlighted.
The Photopia Hamburg trade fair is among those returrning to the fairgrounds and gets underway from September 23-26, 2021. The four-day festival is aimed at the entire digital imaging industry as well as professional and amateur photographers, mobile phone users and all those with a passion for photography and shooting movies. Several photo events and installations will be held across the city parallel to the fair.
