Blockchance postponed to 2021 amid corona

30 April 2020
Around 1,500 delegates expected at leading blockchain conference

Germany’s leading blockchain conference, Blockchance, has been postponed from September 2020 to December 2-4, 2021 owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Around 1,500 delegates are expected at the conference to be held under the theme of Blockchance Europe 2021 in Hamburg’s Chamber of Commerce.

Agenda

Organizers are also expecting 200 investors, 120 international speakers and 50 exhibitors. The agenda features a start-up competition with EUR 100,000 in prizes. "It was not an easy decision for us. But since Blockchance is an international conference and most speakers and many delegates come from all over the world, rescheduling the event was the only *responsible* option. It lets us offer our customers, partners and employees the kind of experience they expect and deserve in a safe environment," said Fabian Friedrich, CEO of Blockchance.

Purchased tickets remain valid

Tickets purchased for Blockchance 2020 are valid for Blockchance Europe 2021. Delegates can request "exceptional refunds". Artificial intelligence will be the main topic at the 2021 event.
